Schluter niches and shelves are made to use with the Schluter waterproofing system so that you can be assured of not risking the waterproofing integrity. Using the Schluter accessories ensures maintenance-free showers as well simplifying the installation process. Many of the corner shelfs can be installed after the tiles have been installed.
