Prefabricated shower benches and custom shower benches are made of KERDI BOARD that is designed to integrate with the Schluter®-Shower System. The benches are lightweight, stable, 100% waterproof and can handle a lot of weight.
Prefab Kerdi Benches
The prefabricated benches feature a sloped surface to prevent the accumulation of water. Prefabricated KERDI-BOARD benches are quick and easy to install, waterproof and ready to tile, making it a simple solution for tiled shower benches.

Custom Kerdi Benches
The Custom Kerdi benches are assembled with KERDI-BOARD. Which is a multifunctional tile substrate and building panel, it can be used for creating bonded waterproofing assemblies with tile coverings. It consists of an extruded polystyrene foam panel, with a special reinforcement material on both sides and fleece webbing for effective anchoring in thin-set
mortar.
Use 2″ thick Kerdi board for custom bench:

Kerdi-Fix (use to glue Kerdi Board pieces together)
Schluter®-KERDI-FIX is a single component sealing and bonding compound with a silane-modified polymer base. It is odor-neutral, UV- and weather-resistant, and contains no solvents. KERDI-FIX is elastomeric and bonds well to most materials, such as wood, stone, concrete, metal, glass, and many plastics. KERDI-FIX is suitable for bonding the Schluter®-KERDI waterproofing membrane and Schluter®-KERDI-BAND to fixed building elements. KERDI-FIX is also suitable for use as a sealant.
